Catholic, Reluctantly - John Paul II High Book One Review

George would rather be at a school where he could join a wrestling team rather than the tiny John Paul II High, run by the parents of the four other students - his friend Celia Costain, Liz Simonelli, Brian Burke, and J.P. The prospect of attending JPII High is lessened when George learns that the obnoxious James will be joining them. However, when the gorgeous Allie Weaver arrives, things don't seem so bad. But she is hardly Catholic at all...so why is she here?

Genre: Catholic teen (and I suppose you could say it has a hint of mystery and action? :P)
# in a series: No. 1
Written by: Christian M. Frank
Audience: Catholic teen, obviously
Main character(s): George and Allie
Other important characters: Celia, Liz, J.P., Brian, James, and Tyler Gertz (and some parents :P)
My comments: I love, love,  LOVE this book and this series!!! I was so happy to find a teen book that was actually appropriate (and Catholic). I would definitely recommend this book (and this series).
